Malayalee  Chamber  of  Commerce and  Industry ( MCCI ) – a Business networking and development body created by Malayalee Businessmen exclusively for Malayalee Businessmen - probably for the first time is creating a historical beginning.

Malayalee Chamber of Commerce and Industry was launched in Mumbai with its first Business Meet during the day and AIMA’s National Meet in the evening. The function was attended by State and Central Ministers along with elite gathering of businessmen and social activists during the daylong function.
Respected writer Shri. Punathil Kunjhabdulla released AIMA’S Social and Business Magazine, MALAYALEE VISION during the AIMA National Meet.

Shri. Alphons Kannanthanam led the Seminar on the subject “Productive Kerala - Present and Future” during Business Meet.  The idea and development of the organization was planned and implemented by All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) as one of their development agenda for Malayalees.

Bringing  together  Malayalee businessmen under one banner of “ Malayalee Chamber of Commerce & Industry” will open up a new era of co-operation & growth among themselves as well as in the field of Commerce and Industry. This will also open doors to support the Next Generation & upcoming businessmen among the Malayalees all over the world.

MCCI (brief)
“Malayalee Chamber of Commerce & Industry” an Organisation floated by eminent Malayalee Businessmen with guidance and co-operation of All India Malayalee Association for the progress and growth of the Malayalee Business community across the world. MCCI is the answer to the much needed networking between various Businessmen across the world for making their business more competitive and sharing the gain and pain among fellow Malayalee Businessmen.
This venture aims to creating a pool of experts whose selfless knowledge sharing method will instill confidence among Malayalee Businessmen to run that extra mile which will ensure seamless growth of business between generations in future. The main objective of the chamber is to facilitate, protect and promote trade and Commerce of the members by considering and formulating opinion on all subjects connected with trade, commerce and industries and conveying it to local State or Central government authorities.

MCCI aspires to develop itself as a platform for Businessmen and Industralist’s for interaction, development, networking, expert opinion, arbitration, reference etc in their respective field of Business. MCCI shall work towards the welfare and support of its members by taking up specific and common cause with State and Central Government policy makers and communicate  the concern and recommendations keeping in mind the opinion and needs of its member community.

The Central Committee of Organisation is headquartered at Mumbai, Maharashtra. For the effective functioning, functional Committees like Province Committee, State Committee, Regional Committee and International regional Committees are being set up. Each province shall be the contact point of the members and the collective efforts will be implemented through the Central Council.

As Provinces, each Metro and Non Metro city and its surrounding area are being identified for proper networking, co-ordination of members with Central Council of Chambers. During the first phase of development, the Chamber is focusing on the following Provinces and surrounding locations of Mumbai,Pune ,Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Delhi ,Hyderabad, Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Pallakkad, Kannur, Kasargode, Malappuram, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Kolkatta , Bhubaneshwar, Vizag, Jaipur, Bhopal, Jabapur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Guwahati.

Expert Committee from various Business sectors are set up to advice the Chamber about the latest developments in various sectors. Such Committee reports will be made available to the members for their use of furthering business interest.

In the beginning of this historical event, we have a team of 200 Patrons, Life Members & Ordinary Members whose participation in the last two months have given us enough indication of the bright days to come.
